Playground Area
Home of the village playing field with some vintage Wicksteed equipment still going strong along with more modern equipment and exercise equipment. These photos taken October 2020.
The original swings have a date of 31/5/54, but the Wicksteed roundabout is registered pre 1945 in the parish council asset register. The springy chair and see-saw are registered March 2004. The wall and basketball with stainless steel bench and seat appear Feb 2006. The toddler equipment was officially opened at a village event in September 2015 and the adult gym equipment was formally opened for use on 28/10/2018. Source : Bev Woolaston.
